Treasures on Goedgedacht’s First Online Benefit Auction

What do a wonderful Charles Gassner painting, an art deco dustpan set, Nina Bosch porcelain earrings, a Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse stay and Game drive, Swartland Wines, and a unique tricycle have in common? Can’t guess? Well, the answer is quite easy. All are treasures in the first ever Goedgedacht online auction!

The proceeds of the auction will supplement Goedgedacht’s COVID-19 Support Strategies, bringing relief to the rural Swartland communities severely affected by the pandemic.

Over the past couple of weeks Help the Rural Child and the Goedgedacht Marketing teams have been working hard to unearth these interesting items to be put up for auction. Again, we have been blown away by the generosity of the wonderful people who have made this auction possible. Thank you to each and every one for continuing to support our work!

“And the tricycle?”, I hear you ask. Well, this special bike will be given to Stiaan, a 6-year-old boy from Riebeek West. Stiaan has a disability and I know the tricycle will make him very happy. I can just imagine him zooming around his neighbourhood. And the money that a kind donor pays for the tricycle will support the food security programmes in his village.

The auction kicks off on Thursday 1 October and closes at 17h00 on Saturday 31 October 2020.
