On Saturday 20 October 2018 the farm was literally buzzing with activity. Our POP Sports team had their annual Spring Sports Day. Teams from each of our nine POP Centres participated in all sorts of sport activities, from hoola hoops to dominoes to dancing, drum majorettes, cycling and our obstacle course. Over 600 children attended and great fun was had by all!
It is important for us to create opportunities for our children to PLAY which is why we love our Sports Programme. Participating in sport also teaches our children valuable lessons: It teaches them courage, discipline, respecting rules, friendship, overcoming adversity, leadership, resilience and teamwork. These are all lessons we want our children to learn.
Well done to the POP Sports Team for organising this fantastic day! Our kids loved it.
